I met photography quite early in my life, through a passionate Grandfather who eventually passed his gear to me as a wonderful inheritance. Digital was a new word and world then, but in the still analog world of mine, taking pictures also meant being patient! Waiting so long to see the results of a shooting session shaped the learning curve to an almost flat line… until… my first DSLR.
Since then, I worked on almost every technique I could read about but really got hooked on shooting people (sounds pretty illegal in most countries…) No bullet there but the light bouncing off faces, curves and fabric caught on an electronic sensor.
I found a lot of inspiration in the Strobists work and carry on using multiple light… natural or not… the sun is an inexpensive but unpredictable one though!
So, should you want to get a chance to see yourself with a new eye (mine!!!) and live around London, drop me a line and I’ll be in touch…
