It’s back to life! So must have spoken the witnesses of the Lazarus resurrection. I shouted the very same words when, as I was packing my bag, I decided to try inserting a battery in my deeply sleeping D300… (see previous post for full story!) Whatever truth there was in the web forums, 36 hours of power depletion seem to have sufficed to reanimate the almost dead camera. Lesson learnt, the D300 does not like the short circuits.
That means I am back in business for documenting the last legs of our travel, namely Paraty, Rio (with a wedding) and a day in the Big Apple on our way back home.
