The Shape Of Water

I was never passionate about landscape photography. I do like a good or better… amazing photography of  a place but as a photographer, I always felt that whatever beautiful site was in front of me, it was also in front of thousands or even millions of other photographers who would do it more justice! I also lack creativity to transcend a vision into an exceptional picture. Nevertheless, it’s good to get out of our confort zone to extend one’s skills or cure a lack thereof! Few days in France, along rivers whose green lush banks were contrasting with the weather harshness gave me the perfect opportunity to practice framing when no human being are the centre of attention. Stopping wherever it seemed worthy, I tried to capture the serenity these waterways provide. I hope these pictures will express the interest the humans have in all bodies of water, not only because they bring them food supplies but make them feel better! these calm rivers and lakes offer all sorts of reflective surfaces, adding one more element of creativity to the equation… a challenge that I willingly accepted…
